Here’s a story close to our hearts – the journey of an Award Winning Brand Campaign, which we had the privilege to create for Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, for their Malaysia business. The assignment was special from the very start. The brand we were launching was the first of its kind in Malaysia, aimed at helping patients manage psoriasis — a condition that takes more than just a physical toll
At Golden Mean, our first instinct is always to understand deeply — the science, the strategy, and the soul of the brand. We immersed ourselves in the brand’s medical strengths and clinical advantages. After analyzing the data, what truly moved us was the emotional weight carried by those suffering from psoriasis. That insight became the turning point in shaping our vision.
Our creative thinking was driven by one powerful idea: to depict the mental and emotional suppression that patients often feel. The brand’s baseline ‘Life unsuppressed’ narrated strong promise to help patients reclaim life from the burden of the disease. The visual narrative took shape around people from different walks of life trapped inside symbolic ‘boxes of suppression’. Their faces, their body language, their stillness — all carefully art-directed — brought to life the burden they carry every day. It was honest, emotional, and hard-hitting. We extended this storytelling across print, motion, and animation — ensuring the message echoed loud and clear across all platforms
The campaign didn’t just resonate with the client, it also received global recognition, winning at The RX Club Show in New York. For us, this campaign was more than just a launch. It was about empathy, bold creativity, and the power of ideas that can both heal and inspire.
